Old Bones

Old Bones
By Bill Nagelkerke
Old Bones is the book we are reading in room 9 at reading time.
It's about a boy called Jamie who moves with his dad and his partner Sue to an old house called Cloverly. Jamie is not very happy about the move, or about the baby that Sue is going to have. the bedroom Jamie chooses in the new house is always cold, and he begins to feel that there's some sort of ghostly presence in the room, but for some reason, no one except Jamie can feel it.
the mystery deepens when Jamie begins to suspect that Marion, the elderly lady next door, knows something about it.

it is about a child called Peekay . At the age of six he goes to a boarding school  in south africa and is bullied severly ,his only good friend is a chicken called grandpa chook.
